    doubts

    Hi There

I have just started with DIVA and I was trying to run through the Quick Tour.
First of all I noticed that in the DINA COAST DIVA Introduction Booklet the screencaps read DIVA1.3 , but the DIVA I dowloaded from the site and installed says DIVA 1.0 . How come?

The second question is that while going through the very simple Quick Tour I have been unable to create more than 1 case. Every time I either create a new case or copy a newly created case to get a second one , the only result I obtain is to change the name of the case. I tried almost anything but I am stuck.
    Any suggestions?

    thanks

    Nicola

I believe the DIVA model does not work properly when installed in a directory where the path contains blank spaces, try installing in C:\Diva, and make sure you have the permissions to install programs, log on using administrator account...

Thank you very much. After the installation in C:/DIVA the calculation is working. However the simple instructions for copying a case seem not to work.

    Cheers

    Re: doubts

    Hi Nicola,

The screencaps were made during the final testing phase which showed an internal version number. The setup has the 'official' delivery, which we labeled 1.0.

There are two ways to copy a case: 1. In case management click on the case you want to copy, and then click on the Copy case toolbar button on the bottom. Note that this it must be an open case, already visible in the tree on the left hand side. If a case is not yet opened, first open the case in question and press the Save toolbar button on the bottom.

    2. In the tree on the left hand side select the case you want to copy by clicking on the case name. Then in the menu on top select "Case" and then "Copy Case". The program will ask you to provide the name.

    Kind regards,

    Poul
